Some friends and I are heading to Vegas in June. They're going for the Electric Daisy Carnival music festival. I'm going for some stellar desert camping. I've been there for short stays twice before, but poor planning caused me to not make much of the trips. Trying to correct that this time. I did the Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire (definitely checking that again). I'm wondering if any ECF folks are from the area and can recommend any cool places we should try to work into the itinerary (restaurants, scenic nature type trips, odd excursions, anything that can keep us away from the slots).
