If you experience thread problems in any mod, if you hear a squeezing sound when you screw metal parts, if your threads are "hard", put vaseline or oil. Vaseline and oil doesnt leave traces behind and also keeps threads in good contition.
O-rings need vaseline too or oil. They will keep their elasticity much longer and they will seal better
