VAPE MOVIE: A Billion Lives!

I'm not sure about the rules for a vape related movie so if it's a no-no, then of course delete it....but I hope you leave it so that we can get this movie released on DVD, BlueRay, Netflix, HBO, Amazon!

I'm heavily involved in Twitter and I helped write a document that Aaron Biebert (Twitter: @Biebert, Director of @ABillionLives documentary) read to the subcommittee just the other day in favor of vaping! Pretty exciting stuff!

The movie, "A Billion Lives," is about govt interference and big tobacco trying to crush vaping globally.

The movie is about how big tobacco and govt regulation are killing vaping and vapers globally are trying to get it on HBO, Netflix, etc., for wider distribution.

If you have Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter or other social media, then post the flyers related to the movie, ASAP!


The movie is complete. I chat with Mr Biebert, the director, on Twitter and he is trying to get it widely known, and widely released, globally. They have a huge push in the EU right now, especially France, and they hope to show it at Sundance Film Festival, NY, LA, San Francisco. The reason why to show it is to win awards, so that it DOES draw attention and get picked up for showing by a distributor who has contacts with thousands of movie theaters. This is the standard channel that ALL movies must go through.

The more effort that vapers put in to advertising it - it then stands a chance to be shown in more theaters, and hopefully on cable channels for wide distribution in North America and globally.

In one of the interviews they state that it will eventually be released on YouTube, probably for rent I would imagine, but their main goals for now are to spread the word so that they can obtain a wide release. They are a for profit company, just like the producers of Batman, Star Wars, etc. I don't expect it to be FREE on YouTube any time soon, but you never know.

Just as Batman, Star Wars, etc., have fans, so should we be a fan of this movie. It is a defining moment for us in the vaping community. We need to get as many on board as possible.

I received the email, too. It was great to see a list of festivals Aaron has contacted -- and that we should also contact to request that "A Billion Lives" be shown.

I'll be googling a lot of the festivals they listed in the email; digging up the contact info and emailing many of them, to ask that they show "A Billion Lives."
