I decided I didn't want to modify my 905 but I wanted to use cartos on it, so I decided to modify the carto instead.
So I drilled a small hole in the carto approximately 2mm from the rim.
I didn't measure till after, I just put it where I thought it would still get airflow after being screwed onto a battery. You may want to put one on each side of the carto if the draw is to stiff for you.
Be sure to cleanup all metal shavings/dust before putting it on a battery. Any left behind could cause a short.
Works great. And the only risk is to the carto, not your mod.
Always be carefull when using drills/dremels or other powertools. It is extremely difficult to drill on the curve of a tube without sliping. I'll be making a jig to make it safer in the future.
<a tube with a hole predrilled in it that the carto slides into snugly. Will prevent slipping and gouging the carto, your workspace or maybe your hand.>
