Trying to get into making my own e juice need help

So i've been thinking about making my own e juice for a while, and i've watched some vids on how to make your own. My question is once I buy the VG can I use flavor extract from the super market like banana , mint, ect... or does it have to be a certain kind of extract. And also I plan on making non nicotine batches at first until i get used to it.

If you go to the DIY section, there's a lot of information on flavorings and which ones you can use and which one's you can't.

Flavorings from a DIY shop are pretty cheap. Probably cheaper than the stuff you get in the supermarket. Read the DIY section or post this question over there. I'm sure someone will help you out.

If i remember correctly some of those flavor extracts at the super market contain things you do not want to vape. If you can get your hands on some loranns from say a hobby lobby or bake store that would work for experimenting..But like previously recommended check the diy forums I learned everything I needed there.
