TR-001 multifunctional charger concerns

i got a tr-001 charger in the mail today with my provari and imr 18650 batts from another ecfer and when i plug the charger in, instead of the normal green status lights.... they are "orange" like the red and green led's are lighting up at the same time and it's flashing.... not sure what to think about this as i have never seen it before. any ideas? luckily the provari reads all the batts as fully charged, so if i have to order another, i should be ok

My TR 001 does the same thing when the batt's are almost fully charged. It's kind of like it can't quite decide if it needs to charge more or not. So I think it's normal for yours to do that. If the led's don't turn red when you put a drained battery on it there might be something wrong with it. Likewise if they don't ever turn green, it might be overcharging.

idk i have never seen a charger idle with no batts and flash the orange lights, i don't have a drained batt to test it yet, but i hope it's nothing i need to worry about. even as i type this the lights are flashing orange. with no batteries in the charger

I have two of those and I've never seen anything but green lights when there are no batteries in it. I think there's something wrong.

it seems to have straightened it's self out, the lights are solid green while in standby now. who knows.

I just had this issue pop up with my aw16340's. Both lights were on. I think it was just that it was close to being done. 10 minutes later, "light goes green, trap is clean."

see that's the thing, no batteries in the charger, orange led's, put a batt in, that i know should be charged, orange led's the status doesnt seem to change. blah, i cant afford to get another one, i blew my load on the pro vari with the charger and batts.

will do, the first batt still isnt dead since i put it in yesterday afternoon. so i should have a few more days with the 2 fully charged batts i have still on my shelf

Cool.. didnt no you were having such a problem with it.. I had that charger for a about a month and it only diid that to me like twice.. I guess it just dont like you...LOL

it's either the charger or the outlets or something, i do have a really old apartment. i had the ultrafire version of that charger for my batts when i had a reo and never seen anything like this. or it hates me =( my ego charger is doing this to me cause it's jealous.

LOL my house was built in 1920 so i doubt its the outlets. any who, im going to send you a new one cause i dont want you to be without a charger!!!
