FEDERAL GOVERNMENT: Senate Finance Committee member Ron Wyden (D-Oregon) announced Wednesday that he will introduce legislation to impose a tax on vapor products to discourage teen use, but that's more likely to impact lower income adults trying to quit smoking than teens with disposable income.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Although already illegal to purchase vapor products under 21 in CA, ANTZ push banning the non-tobacco flavors helping adults who smoke quit.
GLENWOOD SPRINGS, COLORADO: (CALL TO ACTION!) City moving toward adopting ordinance banning the sale of flavored vapor products and denying adults 18-20 who smoke access to far safer products. Second reading at Aug. 15th meeting.
