"Chicago will give you a chance. The sporting spirit is the spirit of Chicago." Lincoln Steffens.

Okay folks, we have hit a milestone. The Windy City Vapors Club will be one year old! We are going to hold a very special party. It is going to be held at Real Time Sports Bar and Grill in Elk Grove Village ( a suburb of Chicago) on the 18th of June from 2pm to 2am. We are feeding everyone! Free food and free soda/pop. (sorry, there will be a cash bar, we're not rich.) We are holding the largest raffle this club has ever seen! We are estimating 15 mods up for raffle.

Quoting Lincoln Steffens holds true. One year ago, The Green came up with the idea of having a meet up of vapers from the Chicagoland area. He posted on all the forums for interested people. The first meet up consisted of six vapers and one girlfriend giving support. The Green, starting out with VaporScoop to help newbies out with understanding what vaping was all about. An electrician came out with his girlfriend. A vendor who was well on his way to carving himself out a name in the vaping community. A man that just sold his company came out with his woody. Another man came late with his Ego and was completely satisified with it that he didn't want to entertain the thought of using a MOD ( I think he owns three now!). And a guy that just came back to the Chicagoland area after spending four years in Japan. That was it. Very humble beginnings. But keeping up with Mr. Steffens quote, we kept the spirit of chance alive!

Today, coming from just six members, we have a website for the Club which has OVER 80 members, our last meet up in May had 50 vapers attend! Our first vendor (Chris, from CigTechs), still swears that he will sell a starter kit for HALF PRICE to any non-vapor that happens to walk in on a meet-up and expresses a desire to quit smoking. He isn't the only vendor we have! Anothony from Juicey Vapor, Tim and Helen from Hot Vapes, Brad from SweetVapes, James who comes all the way from Michigan for our meet ups; Kalamazoo Vapor shop! And our new addition, Nick and Luigi from GoodEJuice! ALL our local vendors have been kind and generous and on behalf of the WCV, I can't thank you enough. The WCV donated a decent sum of cash to help out with the medical bills to a young man in Chicago that had an accident only to find out that he had a more life threatening condition. Our prayers are still with him.

This is what it's all about. The economy sucks, People are in hard times. So, how did we become something that most vapers look forward to each and every month?
The promise of a good time with friends. We welcome everyone with open arms. We still have our sample table were anyone is invited to partake in. Everyone IS REQUIRED to partake in the Mystery Juice Review....just kidding, but it is strongly encouraged.

If you are interested in attending the best time that any vaping club has to offer, it is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED that you RSVP. To date, we have 73 persons coming to the meet up. No worries, there is room for everyone! There is a hotel literally 100 feet from the door of Real Time. If you want a room please contact the website below:

Tell them you are booking for "Windy City Vapers" and the rate is $89 a night.

To RSVP please follow this website:

We do have people coming in from out of town and we do hope that you would consider coming too.

On behalf of the Windy City Vapers Club Crew, myself; Danny (Crossbar), Ed (The Green), Scott (Mr. ECigs) and Dan (Dooz) we welcome you and we hope to hear from you soon.

*addendum* GrimmGreen will not be in attendance, but he does support the Windy City Vapers Club!
