Its the written living word of God that can feed us and if allowed can give us what we need to live a full rewarding life for a purpose.
Its a book of the past, present and future. Its a book of history filled with facts that are true and statements made by man of the truth, its a book of science but not a book of scientific fact, example chapter one verse one says In the beginning God created the heavens and earth this is science before the beginning they was nothing, nothing speaking of matter and physical laws that binds all matter as we know it, it also tells us when time was created, time did not exist before God created the heavens and earth, it also goes on further to explain how night and day was created and so on, example of this science can be found throughout the Bible.
It doesnt make a difference when it was written or when its read or repeated it fits that time period and tells our history and what is happening today and what will happen tomorrow.
Its revealed to us by God thereby not bound by our physical laws and allows for revelation knowledge to be given to an individual. We cant force God to reveal this knowledge to us; He gives it to us as He wills to and whom He wills to give it too and it totally free. This is why a person just cant read the printed form of the Bible and say they understand it correctly because it must be revealed by God and God tells us what requirement is needed for an individual to have God reveal His words to them, this requirement can be found in the Bible in the book of John chapter 7 verse 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Ps. The Bible is not a bunch of printed words put into a form called a book that can be understood but the living word of God that can be revealed to an individual who wants a personal relationship with the Creator of Everything known by many names that describe small parts of His character that He wills to reveal to us. I can only understand God within the physical laws of the universe that God created, though there has to be much more to learn about God beyond this that will be revealed somehow by God.
