telescope mod quit working

So I put a fresh battery in and nothing. Thought maybe I put it in wrong but that wasn't it. Put a different battery in, still nothing. Figured maybe my carto was bad so I tried a new one and nothing. Tried cleaning it all and still nothing. Any ideas? Could I have two cartos in a row bad? The first one worked for maybe a second before quitting which wad odd to me but now I'm just lost. Someone help please!

Look to see if the switch was somehow damaged. Gotvapes sells replacement switches for it.

I don't know much about telescope mods but perhaps the center pin where the carto contacts the battery got pushed in a bit and isn't making contact. Try wiggling the center post up a bit with a paper clip - just be careful not to pull it out too far. Hope this helps.

I'll try to wiggle the center pin up but it seems pretty firmly in place.

How would I know if the switch is bad? It moves freely.....

It's a mechanical device, therefore you have a conductivity problem, somewhere.

I hope you got it working if not I saw a video on the smok tech telescope mod where a guy found that he had burn a wire in the power head. I guess there is a small wire in there that can burn in half or becomes disconnected in some way. If you google telescope switch broke it will come up for you.

I know this is an older thread but someone might have a similar problem. I just had a problem with my SS Smoketech Telescope from GotVapes, I was getting intermittent power. Then I noticed a rattleing sound as I moved it around.
I found that the nut on the negative battery contact in the bottom switch had come off and the contact fell out when I removed the battery.
I stuck a small drill bit in one of the holes in the insulator and unscrewed it, placed the contact & spring back into the insulator, then reattached the nut. I put it all back together and problem solved!!
