Anyone know what the resistance is on a standard ego-t atomizer? I can find information on the low resistance version but not on the standard resistance. I want to know if the standard ones will work on a 5 volt box mod with an adaptor or will the burn up? I have some standard resistance ones that have been in a box for months as I was not happy with there performance on my ego batteries. I will be getting a variable volt mod in the next few days and I'd like to know if these will have better performance at higher voltage and how high the voltage can go with these. My variable volt device says should not exceed 10 watts. Thanks for any guidance.

Heh, i had to dig up my Ego-T atties.

According to my meter, it looks like they're right at 2.3-2.4Ohms. That should be fine at 5V 10.87Watts at 2.3 ohms, and 10.41Watts at 2.4 ohms.

It will be on the hot side, I'd guess, and you'd want to start off with short puffs until you get the feel for it, but I run 2.3 ohm attys on my VV at 5V all the time.
