smoktech hyper srt

I just picked up a Smoktech Hyper SRT and love the way it looks on my stainless Twist but I cant seem to get it to wick right, I get a couple of good drags then it gives a dry/burnt hit. I have watched a couple of videos and changed the wick making sure the wire is evenly spaced and not to lose around the wick. Does anyone else have one and what are their thoughts or tricks. also the draw seems airy.

you are on the right track what I used was a 3/32 drill bit to open up the holes where the wick goes. I bought 2 of them the one I modified with the larger wick hole wicks and taste great. It is a cheap (if you already have a drill and the bits) way to make this thing great! I hope this helps you, this is a really great tank but I guess smoketech didn't account for the wick swelling when in juice, the holes are too small and end up chocking the wicks giving you dry hits.

I am using 325 mesh with 30 awg kanthal.... it seems as though it is over wicking though going to try some 400 mesh as soon as it gets here.... i am using a 6/7 wrap @ 1.8 ohms..... it is producing mad vapor though... i use adjustment of wick height to control throat hit.... /Users/ELVIS/Desktop/IMG_20120828_201246.jpg
