In addition to your support for CAASA-- I hope each and all of you support CAASA-- there is now a White House petition to shut off the deeming regs. It probably won't help much, considering the White House we have, but it can't hurt. If you don't get a confirming email, it didn't go through, and if you don't click the link in the email, it doesn't count:

Sign away, but it won't change anything. The FDA isn't controlled by popular vote, it's under the direction of the President of the United States. As long as the President approves of what they are doing, their regulations will stand regardless of any petitions.

Well over 60% of all Americans didn't want Obamacare, but we're still stuck with it. Less than 10% of Americans support vaping. Even if every single person who vapes supported changing the regulations, we're simple too small of a group for them to care about, and Obama sure isn't going to change anything while he's in office. Why would he, he's out of the job at the end of the year anyways.

About our only real chance to make any change is to change the policies of the next President. Hillary is just a more extreme version of Obama, she isn't going to change anything, so it all comes down to Trump. And Trump just might care because Vapers might actually have enough votes to swing an election. Unfortunately many vapers are young people, and young people like to vote liberal, so I seriously doubt you'll get any unified support there.
