SB and GLV top repair

I have an SB that had the solder break loose from a slight wiggle the button had. It came loose from its press fit but couldn't come out far enough to put epoxy inside and save it.
the SB manufacturer hasn't responded to my emails as I can't figure out how to pry out the 510 connector. SOL and just buy a new top?

For the GLV the lightness came at a price as the aluminum threads are gone going to the atomizer. Haven't emailed this company but figured its a wear item.

Anyone else seen these issues? Or is it a rarity?

Is it a GLV1? I had the same problem with mine. Jay changed the design for the GLV2 so the atomizer threading can be replaced.

ya, old externally soldered one.
ive seen the new v2 and looks pretty sleek with the wrap over the atomizer connector.

the bottom of the top in the SB. Just find something to pry it out....Nothing is really holding it. Then remove the hot glue holding the switch. Then you will see the connector you will be able to fix.

Your just going to need hot glue/or silicon) to put the switch back in when you are finished.
