Revisiting sub tank mini rta section

After 8 months of fighting with the subtank mini rta, I decided to give it another go tonight. I don't know if I can give credit to the cotton bacon (what I've been using the past month or so), but damn, I now see what I've been missing out on all these months. I guess all in all its a learning experience. I just hope I can re wick it again in a few days. Here's to hoping

Awesome! I love the deck. After about three weeks of using the occ heads I realized I wanted more flavor and draw. Like most rebuildables, wicking and coil placement govern. I cut my tails a hair longer than the build deck and fluff them out a bit, tucking the lower third down and in towards the deck. I also move the strands away from the coil legs that connect to the post screws. Once you get it down this tank roars, IMO.

I just started using mine again too. I picked up a trinity glass bell cap for it, threw a 26/32g Clapton coil on it with cotton bacon as well. 1 ohm at 21.5 watts. I'm benching my drippers for the foreseeable future. Best flavor and pretty decent vapor production to boot.
