Questions answered regarding Blue LED Provari

So I've seen alot of questions through posts about when is the blue LED being released, why don't they sell the blue LED's all the time due to such a high demand, is there a pre order list, and I also asked can they make custom Provari's for example, you know maybe I order a black satin provari V2 with green LED's, and people can pay as much as the gold provari.. These were the emails back and forth. I hope this answers alot of people's questions with the V2 and the blue LED

I have a chrome V1 Provari, is there any trade in
policy for the black satin blue LED options? Can I be on a preorder list?
And what's the difference between the v1 and V2 besides the optional blue
LED and button?

Hi Chris,

We don't have a trade in option, but you can always sell yours on the
forum,
I'm sure it would sell fast. -

V2 has only two new things. A wider voltage range of 2.9-6volts and 3.5
amps
output on the lower voltage options to support LR attys and cartos.

We are not doing any presales on the blue displays, they will be available
around March 15 :)

Kindly,
David

Will you have enough to where you won't sell out that day? How long will the
blue display be out for? And How come you do not do any custom orders, like
black with green, and just charge them as much as the 24k gold one, or a
little less of a price?

Hi Chris,

We will have a lot of units in blue, but it will depend on how long supplies
last, I don't know yet how long they will last, but we do things in the
thousands.

Custom orders are very difficult for several reasons. 1. Setup fees. Most of
our vendors charge machine setup fees, say when they stamp the parts on the
circuit board, or custom colors of paint have to be ordered and setup fees
on their equipment. Setup fees alone can run $400-$600. These fees are the
same regardless of if its one piece or 2000 pieces, and I can't see someone
paying that much for one unit in a custom.

Hope that helps
Kindly,
David
