Sorry, I hope this isn't too confusing...

The manual says "...use a high quality USB wall charger with 5V 500mA" My wall charger is rated 5V 1000mA. Is it fine to use this charger?

The MVP 2 box says "Micro USB socket input voltage: 4.5 - 5.5 V 500mA"

I already figured out that my EGO type batts require charging at 4.2V 420mA. My EGO style USB (screws onto the batt terminal) chargers are thus rated. I assume that when plugged into my 1000mA wall charger, the USB charger is regulating to 4.2V 420mA (based on the light cycling to green every few seconds). Is that a really stupid assumption to make?

And is it even more stupid of me to assume the MVP's "Micro USB input socket" is regulating input to 5V 500mA even when using the higher rated 1000mA wall charger?

Does any of this even matter?

Sorry, I'm still learning here.
