Provape info/advice

I recently ordered a provari mini. and after a few days I received an email, that requested my credit card number, name of the bank, phone number on the back of the card, and a few other things. they claim to be from provape.c0m. I found this suspicious because I have been shopping on line for many many years and have never been asked to send info like this through a email.
Has anyone here ordered from provape? and is this there normal way of verifying your CC? I will not reply to that email until I find out. I may be getting scammed by a phishing site... or maybe not.

That's definitely a scam email.

Provape gets all your info when you check out on their site.

yea. I went to provape website, and to my account and they have my CC on file and it shows my order being processed. I sent a message to provape on their web site about it. haven't heard back from them yet. it was after business hours when I sent it, so should here back from them when they open shop.

Yeah it has to be a scam, The Email has no link to the website or anything, looks real amateur. the email addy it came from is jennifer@provape.com probably someone that hacked provape and all they could get was the last 4 digits of my card,

I went and changed my password on my provape account also in the mean time until I hear back from them..

It wasn't a scam. They proved it buy replying to my request ticket on their website. The price of all the things I ordered was a large sum. So I guess they were making sure I wasn't scamming. It just seemed suspicious as I have never been asked to supply/verify myself through a email before.

Really? Ok, I stand corrected...
I've never heard of a vendor doing something like this, and ProVape definitely didn't do this when I ordered mine.

that sounds extremely odd, if anything I could see them asking through a ticket, but never through a email. Strange

If they had a phone number I would've anticipated a call before an Email asking such information. Email is not completely secure by any means. :/
