Okay i'm using a Prodigy v3.1 at 6v with rcr123a batteries, not sure what kind but they are wrapped in all blue. Well when i put them in and screw it shut i can feel them getting hot, i take them out and they are really warm. The thing is it's not firing whatever i have connected to my mod though. Usually using a SS DCT with it.
I had this problem before and it was because i screwed an atty/carto to tight and it popped the connection down and i fixed that by popping it back out before. Plus when that was the problem i could hear my atty/carto firing. Both pairs of batteries i have are overheating. Is it that both pairs of batteries i have decided to fail on me or is it something with my prodigy? I've taken it apart and cleaned it and made sure nothing was wrong with it. I'm ordering new batteries but i would like to know for sure what might be wrong with it if someone has had similar problems.
