Yep, and easy fix.
Take off the top cap and wash the button area with alcohol and let dry.
If you do not have alcohol, you can use water and then bake it dry in an oven.
I have used wetnaps with success too when I got
juice on the touch sensor.
(Baking seems extreme, but it was a recommend method from the manufacturer.)
