A new cathouse would be pretty cool. it's a shame you can't find homes for them. And that there are always more.

that's why i can't get involved in rescues ....... don't have the heart to let them go. and then i take in a pregnant kitty ...... sigh

Good morning Atty.

I can't have cats at all, but i can't take in rescue dogs for the same reason as you Tibs....I'd have more than i could take care of well (and there would be NO room on the bed for me at all).

I spent part of yesterday afternoon helping my friend introduce a doggie that needs a home (you may have seen posts on FB) to her doggies and kitty. It went pretty well, but there will still be some a bit of time needed for them all to settle in. I'm hoping she decideds to keep the 3rd dog. he's a sweetie

Depending on where you live (predators/roads) the kitties may be relatively safe outdoors. I don't have a problem with outdoor cats is they don't have to contend with cars and hungry coyotes!

It can be difficult to let certain ones go but you do get over it. Knowing they have a nice family who loves them and will take care of them helps when you consider they might have been murdered at an animal control or be running loose hungry, scared, or ill..... OK -- off for today guys. I have to fool with this pool!!!!

we're a couple of hundred feet of the road but that's no guarantee. i would have to rely on mama cat to train them. she needs to go to the vet soon; kittens are eating well on their own now ........
and i need to overcome the dh obstacle
