Pre-filled carts in Ego starter kit

Hi, well I received my Ego (standard) today and I'm just getting to know it. One problem I've noticed is that the pre-filled carts that came with the starter kit only seem to be really effective (throat hit, taste) on the first couple of draws. I read that there should be consistency for at least 3 cigs worth from a cartridge. It's almost as if they've only been filled at the top.

Is this a common problem with pre-filled carts? I have ordered some juice and empty carts separate so am hoping this will sort it.

Welcome to the ECF! Yes, but more common in a new filled cart and a fresh battery. The both fall of with use. I even get that with a ego tank type. The TH isn't as important as the nic delivery to me, as not having an analog is the goal. You will find yourself doing all kinds of different carts, carto's, tanks etc in your quest of vaping. Lucky for all of us, its been done many times before and the answers are right here on the ECF!

Fill those cartridges with cheese and use them to bait mouse traps. That's about all they are good for. They are 2007 technology.
Save those nice atomizers tho', they are great to direct drip with. Get a box of cartomizers (about $7.25 for a box of 5)

I agree with the above poster, although you can fill those carts and probably make them perfectly good for use. Use the method in the video below. I'm a big Boge 2.0 carto fan for eGo and Riva batteries.
