Pilot battery LED goes on by itself?

Just got a pilot, haven't tested everything, but so far so good, thanks.

The spare battery I ordered was lighting before I even took it out of the box, I could see the blue in the box. Not like signal blinking, but dragging light-up. It only goes on when I move it: are they motion sensitive? It's not connected to anything, still in plastic sleeve.

Mine were both doing the same thing when I opened up my order today.

I have no idea what it means, just wanted to let Steve know that its happening to my batteries also.

Normal Guys Electronic Switch batteries are very sensitive. Changes in air/movement/sound etc... will make the LED light up

Haha, it's kind of funny being in a nightclub and having the 7 second cutoff get reached based on the sub-bass alone!

I'm sure it's not the movement that is turning it on, it is the sound of the plastic bag when you move it... my wife was enjoying jiggeling the bag of batteries she got today watching the batteries turn on...
