Hey all having a hard time deciding what is typically better for flavor in a rda. I got a tobh rda over the weekend. First I put in parallel 24g (5 wraps 1/8 ID) but felt it was to hot after 2-3 hits, killing pretty much all flavor. Then I put in parallel 26g (5 wraps 5/64 ID same as in my Atomic perfect build for me) but it was to cool. Now I have twisted 24g (5 wraps 5/64 ID) it has a slower heat up time but flavor is almost the same as my atomic. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on twisted or parallel for flavor.

Other notes Im using brass stingray /w vtc5's, middle hole on the tobh cap drilled out to 7/64, and usally do mouth to lung inhales for about 2-4 seconds.

Thanks all!

I just rebuilt my TOBH last night. I used 2 strands of .30ga and 1 strand of .28ga. Flavor, temperature and vapor are all excellent. Warm, but not hot. I usually just build standard .24 or .26 micros and they work fine...but I was bored and I am trying to find a use for all this .30ga kanthal!
