Mixing flavors is like mixing colors; the more colors one adds to the blend, the closer it gets to black.
It's just a trick our brains play on us. We tend to believe that taking more will result in a stronger flavor, but that's not the case. Establish a rule for yourself: eating one peach or ten won't make the taste of peaches ten times stronger.
I almost always stay under 6% flavoring and 3 or less flavors. At one time I had over 150 flavors, today less than 20.
