Not really. Here are my thoughts on the Buzz Pro:

The Buzz is a solid workhorse, always has been. I have just about every Chinese VV/VW mod out there, including the ProV. The Buzz Pro ECF, was my first VV mod. While all other VV/VW Mods use fancy displays, and such, the Buzz is the closet thing to a "Mechanical VV" I have, without the use of a "Kick".

I am one of these paranoid vaping doomsday hoarders, and will be well prepared for anything the FDA may throw at us. I firmly believe, these Chinese MODS that are floating around will bite the dust sooner or later, and probably sooner, than later.

While the Buzz may be dinosauric by most standards these days, never the less its a welding machine that will stand the test of time.
Yes, I have a few mechanical's in the arsenal, but the Buzz is the original beast.

I want one with no coating, just in its raw form, and with a solid bottom batt cap, not with the plastic threads. I intend it to be taken to work everyday, and have it never to let me down. A "Road warrior" if you will...

P.S. If I could get one in Brass, it would blow my mind..

Gotcha! And I love your description of the Buzz Pro. I have an original Buzz, 3 BPs and a VVPV and have never used any other vv device. Only other mod I bought before I discovered Notcigs was a big Chuck. Found out I couldn't handle 6v lol.

I checked the site and looks like something is not working right, seems to show all colors out of stock. I emailed Mike, so waiting to hear back.

I don't think Mike ever made them in brass, just the end caps. Like you, I prefer the all metal bottom cap too. You're welcome!

Our new Envy that is in the final stages of manufacture is going to be SS :) It's still going to be awhile on it tho, one manufacturer screwed up on the membrane switches leaving Mike to have to either find another source, or having to redesign.

Just poking in to see where we were on the wait for the new product, and I find a game to occupy my already non existent time! ;) I have to slow down with the clicking though. My heart skipped a few beats when I clicked the spin button just before registering that there were 3 matching green things on the screen, but it started beating again another second later when it registered that they were Washington heads.

Zipper- I'm not sure if it is the "unfinished" that you are looking for, but I have the ∞ pro in clear, and I love it. It looks nice but is still super tough. I am very clumsy so I drop it quite often, on all kinds of surfaces. I have had it about a year and you can barely see some very light surface scratches. It has a slight texture to it, if that helps.

Thanx tide !!

Yes, I was hoping to get one of the tubes before it went to the "paint booth" and just have it "raw" aluminum. Been thinking about the "electronics" in the Buzz Pro. I'm thinking it must be just a potentiometer that limits voltage as opposed to any sort of buck circuit due to the starting voltage of the stack batt configuration ? The lack of any PWM circuitry ( I Think) is what makes the Buzz Pro hit like a ton of bricks IMO...

One question though...........just in case.

How do I take a screen shot? Thanks.

I use Paint Shop, but maybe Google Chrome has a plugin? I know Firefox has one called "Fireshot"...

Use the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard, and then paste it into your Photo editing software... :)

Thank you for the instructions.

Now if I can just figure out how to use the photo editing stuff. I suspect I won't need it for this =) but would be nice to know.

Now you KNOW you're gonna Win, just for saying that... LOL!!
And if worse comes to worse, just take a pic with your digital camera or cell phone...
I'm sure Bov would accept that, under the circumstances!!

I have to say that when I was playing yesterday I didn't get a single hundred dollar bill on the line but I got enough three of a kind etc. to wish I was actually playing at a casino. lol

Fun.

I've been playing for DAYS and still haven't seen one... :(
