Non Resistance Wire - Does Material Matter?

So I just got my Terminator-C / Oddy Clone, and as I knew going in, it doesn't have any wick/coil materials included.

I wanted to know, does the material of the non resistance wire really matter?

I know most folks suggest using silver... Any particular reason for this? Any known issues using copper, other than it being stiff?

Copper will oxidize quickly, especially in the presence of heat, moisture, and nicotine. I don't think patina would be particularly good to vape (random thought: would the vape taste like a penny?).

Silver and Nickel wire are most common and very resistant to oxidation and corrosion.

I found some 30AWG insulated solid core nickel wrapping wire in my box of crap that I refuse to throw away... Now I feel justified in keeping it... LoL

I tested it on the meter... 1 ft - 0 ohms... I think that classifies as zero resistance

That will do...now all you need is a wire welder.
