I was on the forums three years ago but left in the fall of '09. I don't remember my username so I had to make a new one.

I've been vaping for a few years now. Started with the vapor king 510 and moved to a volcano ego model (don't remember the model) and now I'm about to order the new lavatube. I was going to get a provari but that's just paying for a brand name. I just convinced my girlfriend to quit analogs and get a vp. She lived in HI for a long time so she insists we get volcano models. Now we're just waiting for the lavatube to come in pink.

Glad to be back and glad to see the forums have exploded with members.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to getting a new pv. The one I have been using is showing its age. Volcano has the LT2 in black and pink but nothing else yet. I haven't decided if I want the blue or gunmetal color. I may just break down and order black one because I'm impatient.

She had a great experience with Volcano when they let her test every model and flavor they had without pressuring her to buy anything. Doesn't matter to me, I just want an awesome new toy.

Just don't let all the Provari Fan Boys bombard you with get a Provari over and over. It's bound to happen. Get something in a reasonable price range to get you started.

Oh I started a while ago. I considered a provari but the lavatube is almost the same for $100 less. I think the provari is more about status than function.

I've held both. I bought the provari.

I'd say it's probably 20% better than a lava tube, at double the cost.

So if you want the most bang for the buck, choose the lesser expensive one.

I also use an eGo twist on a DCT. It hits fantastically. I'm using a 1.5 ohm carto so it's matched to the battery and voltage.

The mod is only one part of the whole process of vaping. Battery, fire, juice. If you get one part right, but the other two wrong, it won't be as satisfying.
