New Carts taste burnt!

I just bought a 10 pack of cartomizers from Madvapes. They are the cart replacements for the tube tank i got from volcano (7ml). They are 3.0 ohm single coil dual hole punched cartomizers and when i replaced them, all i can taste is burnt paper. I primed them with a few drops and that did nothing. I thought maybe the cart was faulty so i tried another one, and another one, and they all have the same taste. Am i doing something wrong or did i just get a bad batch. The cart that came in the tank tube i bought from volcano is just fine.
On another note, does the tube tank change the flavor of the juices? I feel like im not really getting much flavor from my juice. I've heard that because of the distance from the cart to the mouth in the tube tank, the taste changes. But c'mon, its not thaaat far...
P.S. im running my LT at 4.4 volts.

When using a tank you still have to completely fill the carto before you put it in the tank.

completely fill the carto? I always read that you should only drop like 3-4 drops in there. If you put more than it would leak down into the lavatube...

You have to saturate the filler in the carto as well as fill the tank. I've burned lots of em. Once burnt they are ruined. Fill your carts with a syringe if you have one.

All of the filler has to be wet. Just filling the tank won't do the job initially. You have to put about 20 drops in the filler or use one of a variety of filling them.

Oh, fill the carts before you connect to your lava tube. You can gently blow out any juice that may get in the air hole. Then hook up your lavatube. It takes awhile for the juice to soak into the carto filler if you are just dropping drops on top. Use a syringe.
