Need Ultrasonic cleaner opinions

I have a Go Go and really like it, but I don't like the idea of cleaning attys and fillers again. One thing that might excite me more to use these new cartos is getting to clean them in something like the "Sonic Wave CD-2800 Ultrasonic Jewelry & Eyeglass Cleaner."

I'd really appreciate some opinions about how well these things work in cleaning cartos and if it works to clean the whole atty. Please chime in if you have some experience in this area.

It won't get as clean as a rebuild as you can't dry burn the coil but it should be good to extend the life of the carto.

Thanks for that link. I'd sure like to know more. Like what other cleaning liquids folks are using in their machine. And how many cycles it takes to get the job done. And why couldn't we do a dry burn too? Thanks again.

If you remove the filler you can dry burn but not sure you need the cleaner if you take out the filler. Dry burning with the filler in will burn the filler. Much as the link said, most use cheap vodka, or hot water. The creast works but you have to rinse really well to get the mint taste out. Most posts I see do 3 or 4 3min cycles. Most that clean these cartos are now removing the filler, following mohawkx's great guide.
