Am NOT "liking" that at all! How long are their phone lines open to taken calls? When do these "professional listeners" get to go home?

So I got through--after 11 minutes on hold... I got a male operator telling me I'm on comments line--I gave them my comments, which were met with silence and another dropped call.

I really can't do this any longer--I have to get back to RL...

Is there another way for us to leave our comments? On the White House comments page, perhaps? I'll never get through and I can't waste any more of my time.

Maybe after a certain amount of quiet time after your statement, the line automatically disconnects. Maybe they aren't listening at all but put you on a recorder and go on to a next call?

Whatever it is, it's just ridiculous. And it's already 5 PM on the right coast, so they are probably going home. I spent 4 hours total trying to reach them.

Just got through and, yep, the comment line just closed; however, do call back tomorrow between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. Well, I will try again tomorrow.......Maybe it will be less busy.

I was lucky to get a good listener. She even had me repeat a comment that was breaking up.
