Mosfet heating up

Hello. I built dual 18650 unregulated parallel box mod with mosfet (and 15k resistor). When I'm using it the mosfet gets like super hot.... It's ABS box and the mosfet is covered in heatshrink. Any suggestions?
I was using dual fused clapton, 0.27 ohm.

Hmmm, I've built a couple parallel mosfet boxes and never actually touched the mosfet to see if it got hot. Pretty sure it's normal to get some heat, though I'm not sure how to quantify "super hot".

Your load (0.27-ohms) doesn't seem exceptionally low, but I know that some boxes use dual mosfets to split the current load on lower resistance loads.

Not much help, I know, but any mosfet will give off heat during use.

If it gets super hot, I'd be putting in a new mosfet. That's assuming you have wired it up correctly and have actually used a 15k resistor.
