I believe the Leo battery is more like 3.
5V. The optimum ohms resistance of the atomizer, cartomizer, or
tank varies from vaper to vaper. I think that
most of us would want LR with that voltage. Even the 2.4 ohm MAP tank would produce only 5 watts on that battery. [Many vapers regard the "sweet spot" as 6-8 watts.]
So I'm not sure that the Leo battery is optimum for MAP tanks. They probably fair better on 5V and variable voltage mods ... or even on a true 3.7V (i.e., 4.2V fresh off the charger) mod or fat batt. For example, at 3.7V, a 2.4 ohm MAP tank would give you 5.7 watts.
Before switching batteries and buying a fairly expensive MAP tank, you might want to try that 510-to-Leo adapter (e.g., $10 at
VaporNine or $12 at
Avid Vaper) and Smok Tech Mega Dual Coil cartomizers (e.g., $9/five-pack from
LiteCigUSA). The dual coil cartos don't have as large a juice capacity as those huge tanks, but they vape great at 3.5V (and at many other voltages).
The adapter that
I am waiting/hoping/wishing for is 510-to-Leo, so that I can use the wonderful (but not very low resistance) Leo cartomizer on variable voltage.
