Good evening All.

Alabama has new this to worry about with the New Vaping laws. And in case you have missed all the commotion over the PMTA deadline, here is a short video discussing the ugly truth,

Alabama vaping laws changed yesterday, as announced by AL.com.
The new law implemented changes such as:

  • Vape shops are required to have a tobacco license. According to the Alabama Retail Association, almost 8,000 retailers sell tobacco products, though since licenses were previously not required it’s unclear how many offer vaping products.
  • Advertising of vaping and other alternative nicotine products as healthy options to replace smoking are prohibited.
  • The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board will regulate e-cigarettes and vaping products.
  • Restricts selling of vaping and nicotine products to anyone under age 19. Violating this provision could result in a fine of up to $300 and up to 30 days in jail.
  • Prohibits advertising vaping products near schools or opening vape shops within 1,000 feet of a school, childcare facility, church, youth center or public library, playground or park.
  • Limits billboard advertising for vaping liquid to offers for only three flavors – tobacco, mint or menthol. Critics said fruit-flavored vaping liquids attracts younger users.
