kick sleeve

so, i know what a kick is, but am unclear about a kick sleeve. i'm thinking that it's a space already built into the mod to put the kick into?? does anyone have a pic of this?? are there vendors offering mods with kick sleeves at this point?

hi TJ, so from the look of the pic, there's just extra room to allow for the kick??

It's an additional part that fits between the battery tube and the switch housing, and allows you to use the origional sized battery. Without the sleeve you would have to use a shorter battery to allow for room for the kick.

If I remove the kick & sleeve, it becomes a conventional 3.7v mod.

The other option is an 18650 battery mod (tube) and using an 18350 battery and kick. If you go with some of the telescoping mods (GG, Uranis, sturm, etc.) it will work. Just make sure that the body of the mod itself is not the ground and the diameter is correct for the kick.

I just got my sleeve and now it keeps having a bAd connection. I have To open it up and mess with the kick or battto keep it running. Any suggestions?

NO, you would use an 18490/18500 battery instead of the 18650. The kick takes up 15mm of battery space.
So you would use the 18350 in a 18500 mod like the Bolt without the extension sleeve.

Haven't had the problem since I sanded with 220
