I bought a joye 510t as my first pv and well I really dont care a whole lot for it.
here is why..

1.Somehow I went through 2 batteries in about 4 hours today (in the car vaping nonstop lol)
2. My husbands Cig2o (kr808d1) seems to give better throat hit and better flavor then my tank system. (using blank cartos and eliquid)
3 His Cig2o Also seems to not suck through the juice as fast. This 510 really seems to eat the juice up fast.

Talking to hangdude (who is freaking awesome!) He suggested maybe a kgo or riva.

Here are my questions
1. Is the kgo bigger then an Ego or riva? Is this thing gonna look all porn star on me?
2. The working volts on my 510t says 3.4 - 4. something If the kgo is 3.7ish is it going to be as weak as my 510? I plan on getting the dual cartos from smoketech. 1.5 shorties (cause i am still in sample the crap out of liquid mode) ill get bigger ones when i choose some flavors.
3. Is there a HOT pink cig out there that performs as well as the kgo /riva is supposed to?
4. How in the world would you clean the clear cartos as they are plastic i am assuming and cant be boiled and baked? I would like the keep my upkeep costs as low as possible.
4. Taste.. My husband would vape just about anything but I am very very picky. (Which is also why i am very very broke trying out new juices) The juices i have bought seem to taste better from his 808 then my 510t. How is the taste with the kgo or riva?
5. Am i missing something and there is a way to make my 510t awesome? I dont understand how a cheap 808 is outperforming the 510t.
6. If i go with the Rival which i think as far as battery life would work for me and $$ wise cant go wrong will i get the same performance TH and flavorwise as the kgo with just a shorter battery life?
7. are their dual coil cartomizers for the riva available and if so will the 1.5 ohm clear ones from smoketech work?

I posted this in model specific threads but Im not sure that is where it belongs

Kgo, Riva, and eGo are essentially the same thing. They're made by different manufacturers, but some teardowns seem to imply that they all use Joyetech batteries and parts, so I wouldn't worry too much about which is which. Some others may disagree...

The eGo type batteries (let's use that generically here) are longer lasting, and they're regulated at 3.3. This will give you a consistent vape for hours, rather than one that starts off great and diminishes quickly. 1.5 ohm attys seem to work fine on eGos, but they recommend against it. May diminish battery longevity.

The eGo (not generic, the Joyetech eGo) is available in pink, and many other colors.

Cleaning clearos mainly means running water through them and waiting several days for them to dry out. Some use rubbing alcohol, as it evaporates quickly, but you don't want to inhale it either... Use caution with this. Some use a sonic jewelry cleaner, and some use alcohol IN a jewelry cleaner. The good news is they're cheap, so you needn't feel too bad about tossing them out.

The taste will depend on your juice delivery system (carto, atty, tank, whatever) and not the battery. If you like the vape you're getting from your atty and you put that atty on a different battery, it SHOULDN'T make a huge difference, unless you're talking high voltage with a mod. This can give it a burnt taste or can otherwise change the taste. An ego-style battery shouldn't have any impact on flavor.

Some find tanks in general mute flavors. There's nothing better than direct dripping, but it's too inconvenient for me. Tanks are the next best option, in my opinion. I use the eGo-T, but I've used the 510-T as well. The eGo gives a better vape (more vapor, better throat hit) in my opinion...

As these are all similar, you want to look for the milli-amp rating of the battery. More means longer life. They're available in 600 mAh, 900 mAh, and 1000 mAh, as far as I know. This should give you a measuring stick to compare one to another.

Anything with a 510 thread will work on these ego-type batteries.

Hope I was able to help... Those with more experience may point out some flaws, but that's the way it work, as I understand it! Good luck in the eternal search for the perfect vape!

in theory i could pop a 1.5ohm dual coil carto on my 510t battery and that would work right? Would it improve the vapor, th and flavor?
thanks for the start on my ?'s :)
and along that same theory if i took a kgo battery and screwed my 510t atty and tank on it it would also work. would the vapor, th, flavor etc change?
