That is a good question.

The new ones are stainless steel I believe, I currently own an aluminum GGTS with AVS.

I'd say it's worth it if you want a status symbol which is both beautiful and complex. At least with my revision of the product it's a bit finicky to get working. At least with the AVS V2 you needed to run 7.4 volts or a low resistance atty to make the thing really shine.

The new version may have new characteristics.

Since I'm a low voltage guy, I'm kind of indifferent to it even though I own one.

If you want to try getting into the gg mods, the ggtb is a great way to start. simple, elegant, easy to use and best of all not a bank breaker. it gives you the style without all the hassle. i won one in a contest and have to say that it is excellent. I usually vape at 3.7v with a lr cart, but this has opened up my vaping options by letting me into the 6 and even 7.2v range. Definately a lot of options and functionality.
