Hello folks and welcome back for today's review. In the ever flooded market of POD Devices it was a nice treat to get a actual RTA Atomizer to review. Today's review item is the Ares Finale RTA from Innokin. This is mainly a MTL Atomizer but can be used for RDL vaping as well. When I tell you that this is a bargain of a package I'm not kidding. First of all you get wire for building along with 2 pre-built coils, cotton, 2 MTL drip tips, extra glass tube, extra O-rings, 2 build tools along with a drop dead easy atomizer to build on. After some product info I'll give you all my findings on the Ares Finale RTA from Innokin. This is a design collaboration from Phil Busardo and the vaping Greek.

FIRST IMPRESSION


Packaging was nicely done with the atomizer and extra glass tube sitting in their own spot wit all the other components in paper bags below them. I think both colors are nice and just the right height. as soon as you slide the inner box out your greeted with a picture of Phil and Dimitris. As you can see from the pictures below you really get a lot of bang for your buck.

The Ares Finale breaks down easily for cleaning which you should do with any new atomizer, the little key tool breaks it down completely if you choose to do do, I don't think it's necessary though.

Building on this 16mm deck is a breeze being so simple and easy to do and you can adjust the inner airflow with a fully wicked coil in place by just moving the adjustment lever to any position. When placing coil legs through the post holes a slight bend in one or both legs will make it easier.

I am a Rayon user so the wicking material I choose to use was of course Rayon. Having no enclosed well can make placement of the wick legs tricky, just be sure you have enough material in the wick slots and don't get it caught in the threads when screwing on the glass section. I used the included coils that came with both atomizers, both builds came out at 0.97 Ω's.

I knew right away after seeing both tanks what mod they would be sitting on, I used the smoked glass that has a mirror effect on the Black tank ( very nice effect ) !!! One thing that looks cool but I don't know if it improves flavor but on the inner dome there is a swirl design on it. Another thing I want to bring to your attention is to keep a watchful eye on the O-ring gaskets but pay special attention to the bottom one in particular, it likes to fall off easily, when cleaning use a colander.

Your airflow choices are almost infinite because of the internal airflow combined with the 7 outer airflow choices which happen to be honeycomb, there are no hard stops on any of the outer airflow selections including a large cyclops hole.

Sometimes company's really get carried away with branding which can sometimes take beauty away from a tank or device for that matter, the only seen branding is tastefully done on the tank.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS


I really have to give Innokin 2 huge thumbs up with the Ares Finale RTA because of all the extras included with this atomizer plus it's a good atomizer on top of all that. Wicking is a learning curve as most RTA's have their own little tricks. I had to raise the coil a smidge on the silver one because of over saturation but after raising it up that issue was resolved.

All in all the Ares Finale is a good RTA that is more designed for MTL vaping but can do a good RDL vape as well. I will continue to use both of them because the flavor is good, airflow is smooth, it's a juice sipper not a guzzler and the capacity is just right making the tank look good on any device.
