Haven't played on steam in years. If you order today there is rebates on alot of 560 ti and 560 OC cards. They will blast out anything a 570 single can throw at them in sli mode for the same price. This will really help. Keep in mind that all the comparisons are on reference clocks:

Havent played too much PC in the last year or so toher than SC II. I have been a console junky this last year or so. I think I beat around 60 xbox 360 titles, and at least 3 or 4 with 1000 GP and maybe 2 on PS3 (man, that system gets far more netflix time than anything else).

I'm currently in the process of building a computer.. Everything I have is Mac based, and is for my work. I miss playing games and such. It's been about 6 years since I have owned a PC so I'm really excited.

Awesome I think I may get the slightly later June *tight on cash atm* but I feel you on the console junkie thing man mw3 and bf3 have been feeling the laser burn hahaha. Dude I want to know the specs of your pc! Mac is ok if you like media editing but cmon we all know linux/Microsoft is what you need ;-)

My girls parents were living in Japan for 2 years so we got to visit them. I picked that up (sealed btw) for 1400 yen (about 15$) in a used game shop. Down the street I bought a boxed super famicom to play it on. We had to split my VG purchases across our suitcases to get past customs (allowed up to 250 per person at the time). Luckily they only cared about the purchase price there, not the value here.

lol, then I probably shouldn't mention that I got them ALL. Every FF released in Japan pre-playstation and a copy of our VII and VIII (which I can only play in emulation...couldn't afford a japanese PS). I even got mystic Quest just because it was only 3$

Upgrading my machine tomorrow (new video cards) and putting a new PSU in hers tonight. Her PSU couldn't handle the video I put in it.

ok, so, my new SLI setup (2xGTX 560 Ti DCII TOP 1G DDR5's) are in. Holy freakin smokes! 7.7 on the win performance (win 7) for both graphics categories. I haven't tweaked them yet, factory clocked (at 900), and didn't have time to 3dmark them yet. I will 3dmark 11 and 06 them this weekend. As promised, here are some pics of Diablo:

Lost a HD over the weekend so likely picking up replacements this weekend. I need to find a good fan/light controller that will look beeftastic in the case, but haven't found one I like. Also thinking about getting some EL Sata cables. Eventually I will paint the drive chassis now that my warranty is up on the case.

Cool computers, i dont really game on the PC. I have a dell xps 420 and a dell xps 410 i use for web development only really.

i have a 50" lg plasma mounted over the fireplace wired to a fan cooled media cabinet with a new xbox 360, ps3, and a wii....the kids like it.

thanks...I fell in love with the case, Piano black is a hard to find finish and I love the sculpted look of the Lexa. The two GTX560 ti's (in sli mode) hit 7.7 for both graphics categories on the performance index. Having some glitches with getting my ram timings right, but once they are set I will be rocking! Nive to see you were able to pick one up!

How do you tweak ram timings? I have the gskill riojaws 2x4gigs and when I pull up the amd overview I get lost in the ram number haha. Yea I got one then I read that some people were having trouble running bf3 with them in sli so I'm kinda worried.

I ran SCII with those cards in ULTRA over the weekend...0 stutters. I can not believe how beautifull they perform. Tonight is monitor calibration and to verify that my Vent server is accessible (just installed a new E4200 primary router) and I am all set for diablo!!!

I use nVidia Ntune and the MSI tools for my board to tweak ram timings. You might want to check where your CMOS reset is though...I have to pull a vid to get to my reset button.

Got my array back up...man...a week on a standard drive really showed me how much performance gain you get from HW raid...system is back to being awesome again. Is that a reference model 560ti? I got the 900 mhz OC ASUS ones just for the little push (I think the factory ref is 830 if memory serves). I feel better about my vid purchase now...they are 40$ more than what I paid this week

Not that it matters much but Windows Experience index is all 7.9 except the CPU at 7.7.

I see you have an assist fan on that P67 - good show! The 'thermal armor' is a disaster IME without it (though I wasn't using a downward-blowing CPU fan either)

It boots up in less than a second and uses very little energy when it's hibernating. I was thinking of overclocking it, but I was worried I might break the elastic.
