How do you become a member?

I am fairly new here as you can see..but I am fair and honest, and would like to become a member of the Team EFC Folding@home if possible. Could you please tell me how to be able to join and if it is even possible for me to join since I am fairly new even though I saw a person on here with only 30 posts and they were a member of the team. I have been around a little longer than what they have. Thanks for your help!
