Ever feel like you wanted to serve your community? That you are called to help others?

If you are interested in becoming a hospice volunteer in the DFW, Denton or surrounding areas, send me a PM. As little as an hour a month of time can improve someone's quality of life so much. We need volunteers from every area, and we match volunteers to people in their own communities. The hospice volunteer most often fulfills a social role and does not provide patient care.

You could be an answer to someone's prayers.

This is a wonderful thing for you to do Shannon. I support Hospice and DCAC through my United Way contributions.

Hospice is like having a firestation or police dept in your neighborhood.
You can't just build one when "you" need it.
It's something that has to be maintained through the support of people like you.
When my travel slacks off a little I'll give you a hollar....
Thanks again for your community service.
It's nice to be nice...
