Has anyone sanded down the 510 connection on their Saber?

Hello Moondwellers, I was wondering if anyone has ever , carefully sanded down the 510 connection on their flat top cap. I guess my OCD is getting to me. I keep looking at the Gap between my Odysseus and my Black Ice Kicked Saber.

I sanded down the 510 connection on my little cheapie Smoke tek Natural it was rather easy since its all stainless steel and brush finished, so didnt worry about accidentally nicking the top part.

I guess I could do it, but I'd have to tape off the top cap, but if i miss and mess up the powder coating Id be upset.
Sir Lawence? Have you ever done that ? Maybe I could send mine back to you and have you do it?

Well remember... the connector has the vent slots in it. If you do sand it down, don't take it to the point where you have no ventilation going through. And if you want to tape it, use low tack painter's tape.
