If you aren’t subscribed to receive the latest Halo news or if you were here is a refresher for you, sometime around September this was floated in your in box “HALO ROADMAP Although the summer months slowed the development of new products, we are very close to offering some great new items. One of the hottest developments we have is the all new Halo Element e-cigarette. Not only does the Element have a sleek design, it is also built on one of the most tried and true battery systems available. In addition, it can be used as a 2-piece or 3-piece system, offering great flexibility for new and advanced users alike.”
So, the Element is finally here and Johnny Blaze and the Halo folks didn’t dissappoint in my opinion. The element is a tried and true Joye 510 E-cig with a finish and look that complements the quality Halo is known for and packaged like you’d expect a Halo product to be packaged if you’re an existing Halo customer.
I still consider myself a rookie so a performance review of the Element is most likely not going to surprise anyone that has used this particular model. My personal experience has been limited to a M401 and a SP2 Spark Plug with the 801 atomizer and the 510 atomizer using an adapter on the SP2. The M401 was my first e-cig and I still have it around as a back up. Performance wise , comparing my previous e-cig models to the Element would be the equivalent to learning how to drive in a Ford Escort, moving “up” to a hot rod Chevy Nova and then finally test driving that Supercharged ZR1 Corvette. The 510 produces clouds of vapor with the Halo liquid and has a throat hit that knocks the socks off of my SP2 “Mod”.
As stated on the website the Basic starter kit comes with 2 batteries ( One automatic & One Manual Battery ), 2 designer atomizers ( Lazer etched ) 6 empty cartridges, 1 wall charger, 1 instruction manual, 1 cartridge carry case , a decorative Halo Element storage tin and a 5ml bottle of your choice of Halo Liquid.
Halo also has a full selection of Manual or Automatic batteries, Cartomizers, USB Chargers and PCC’s available as well.
I did a little research on the standard 510 kits available at various sites and the Halo price is competitive. No doubt if you search hard enough you can find cheap knock offs of the 510 at a cheaper price and perhaps the original 510 starter kits on sale at various sites slightly cheaper. Considering the quality of the finish of this unit and the first rate packaging combined with a bottle of Halo liquid, I think the kit price is comparible to other vendors.
If you’re new to e-cigs you’d be doing yourself a favor to make this your first kit. The best part about the Halo Element in my opinion for those who use the 510 model is having it available along with what I consider to be the best e-liquid available. No need to stock up on Halo liquid and order hardware from another site. The savings in shipping alone would make the prices listed competitive or cheaper than purchasing e-liquid and hardware from two or more sources.
Of course if you're not new to e-cigs and you prefer the 510 model, now you can get the best liquid on the market and hardware in one stop!
I’m a huge fan of Halo liquid. So far , even with the growing pains of being a new company and supplier Halo has strived to do things first class both in quality and product offerings. The performance of a model as tried and true as the Element suits the Halo brand well and I look forward to seeing what future products become available.
Did I mention, that Halo logo looks cool as hell on an e-cig ? :smokie::thumb:

Thanks for this review, nice job! I've been a Halo-girl since I started vaping. Although I suffered a tragic relapse to analogs over the summer I've been anxious for Halo's e-cig to be released.

When I came to my senses and got back on the vape-train, of course I had to order one! I just received mine. I ordered the kit with the one auto battery because I like to try everything and I've never tried an auto-bat. I've got to say that once again, Halo never disappoints. I also got a pack of cartomizers, something else I've never tried.

I'm happily vaping on my Element with a cartomizer as I type this :)

I'll be reviewing the Element as well and totally agree - the Halo logo does look great on the e-cig

Thanks player30 :) What a stupid thing to do... I had almost a year vaping - completely cig-free. I think the aliens implanted something in my brain that made me pick up that first analog because I really don't want to blame my friend who chain smoked - when we were hanging out drinking together -blech - I caved and was right back where I started within a week. I blame the tequila (yeah, that's it, it was the Tequila)

Main thing is, I had my summer fling with ciggies and came to my senses. Almost $9.00 a pack and I had ramped myself up to almost 2 packs a day- seriously? It had to be aliens. No, it was the aliens in the Tequila

Thank goodness I had a couple of sealed brand new bottles of my Halo in my juice stash. I picked up my PV and instantly realized how much more I love vaping than I ever thought I loved smoking. I love my Halo menthols, they're my all-day vape.

I love the feel of the Element too! And I love the wide band atties - for some reason they always seem to end up in my *favorite atty* pile.

Now I even have an auto-battery so people who can't immediately grasp the concept of the manual button can try vaping with the auto-battery... which I actually thought I wouldn't like, but it wasn't bad at all. I take big long draws and although I only tried the auto-bat once when I first charged them up, it didn't seem to have a cut off.

Does anyone know if the auto-bat has a cut off? I was able to take a good long draw on it no problem. I can even slap a cartomizer on that auto-bat and really show the suspicious people how mindlessly simple vaping can be!

I'm a happy camper - I'm hoping for a pink Element, and a Red one (hint, hint) :vapor:

Welcome to your good senses Remie!! I agree with you. Being so impressed with their juice, I had to try out an element. The feel of it is great. It seems to be softer than other batteries I have tried. At some point I am going to order their PT.

Keep vaping!
How do you mean softer? In what way? Sorry if it's a completely obvious question but it's curious.

Ha! I don't see Halo going with any other colors except maybe blue with black or silver, as it wouldn't match the brand/logo. Don't beat yourself up about the "relapse". I would just see it as a lesson on how easy it can happen and also how much more enjoyable vaping is than smoking. I plan to keep on with it even if/when I no longer find the need for nicotine. I think I am on the cusp, and if somehow all my liquids were switched out exactly for no nic, I might not notice for a few days at least. I don't crave it in the morning like I used to with cigarettes. It's more the whole process which is so enjoyable, along with the great taste, of course. The curiousity, weird looks, and subtle disapproval from a few I can live without but it's different than with smoking.

I'm not a fan of auto batteries because dripping is tricky and for other known reasons but I do have to have one around for when the mood strikes. How does the Element work compared to the Joye autos? I have never noticed a cutoff with my Joye auto battery, except when it cuts out due to lack of power, airflow, juice or what not. I would be curious to know if there is one also, if you hooked it up to a suction device or something.

is it a joyetech 510? if it is a joyetech im about to jump and order the starter kit with the starter juices...wish they had a sampler tin that didnt have the menthols...HINT HINT...

Brisket, I think you will be pleased with this starter kit. The Element batteries are my favorite of all my small batteries. The pull on it is great, and there is a ton of vape. Post back what your thoughts are. And you will love the menthols--nothing else even comes close!
