Just got my first cartomizers in yesterday. I filled one using the condom method and got a few great hits then it started to taste burnt. I figured on the first fill maybe it needed to be primed a little more so i put another 15 or so drops in using the condom method. Got a few good hits like that and then back to the same burnt taste no vapor. Being the curious guy i am i took the carto apart and guess what.....the filler was bone dry like it never saw any liquid. I have now wasted a 1/4 bottle of ejuice and have a dry carto. How is this possible? Where did all the juice go?

which end did you fill it from?
I usually fill from the battery end and let it sit for 2 minutes to let the filler soak the juice.
This hobby is tricky, I've been vaping for almost 2 months and I still have days (yesterday) that are difficult.
Also some cartos will fail right out of the package.
I guess its the price we pay for using such a new technology.

First time i filled from the mouthpiece end, next time from the battery end. when i opened it up it was like no juice had ever been in there.
Ok so i saw the vid on using a sports needle to fill cartos and just love it. No condom method for me sports needle is the way to go.
