If you're using Dual Core with the VTube the limiter is probably kicking fairly early so adjusting above that point isn't going to make a difference which is probably why 6v feels the same as 3.7, in effect it probably is or close to it with dc.

Try using a single core carto or atty, you should be able to tell a difference as you raise the voltage.

There are quite a few. Boosted mods(mods that use 1 battery) usually have a harder time with dual core due to the current draw. A 2 battery configuration that uses a step down regulator usually has a higher amp limit. The Vmaxx is one, should handle anything thrown at it. Many box mods will also as well as various tube mods.
