Feel a little bit like an outsider

I've been studying this forum intensely for two weeks. Been vaping for a week now. I absolutely love it. I stumbled across personal vaporizers on accident one day, (smoking everywhere) lucky for me I like to do research. Funny thing is, I didn't give up cigarettes. I was a smokeless tobacco user (namely copenhagen). I actually quit cold turkey back in Jan. I had the willpower to do it, but was acting very harshly toward everyone (read "wife").
I really didn't want to go back to tobacco, smokeless or otherwise, but didn't know what to do. I am so glad I found an alternative. Thanks to everyone for so much great information. I really appreciate it.

Welcome to the Forum Link! Keep vapin. I've been off analogs now for 2 weeks today! I smoked for 36 years. Full strength Kools. If I can do it, anyone can.

Welcome to the forum. E-cigs will change the way you think about smoking. I've been analog free for over 15 months and I smoked for 31 years, anywhere from a 1 to 1 1/2 packs a day.

So happy to have discovered e-cigs. I quit in Jan. but missed it and would sneak cigs now and then, even used to dry smoke 'em (not lighting up but puffing)

I read and lurked here and finally got a mini cig kit last weekend. So far, so good! Now I am waiting on an order of menthol and other flavor juice.

I'm willing to bet you aren't the only person who's gone from chew to vape. The way I see it your body is still craving the nicotine and needs it's fix. (And possibly the oral fixation)

I would still suggest stepping down slowly on the nicotine and maybe eventually going to zero. But that's just me.
