eGo Battery fuses with Vivi Nova??

Has anyone heard of this happening?
An eGo battery fusing the Cone and/or Vivi Nova base. Is this a ego or Nova issue? Any goods links to this issue?

That's odd. Can't say as I've come across this before. Were you holding the batt when this happened?? I would think the batt would have to get very hot for something like this to happen. Are you ok?

Wasn't me Paula. It was a customer from Scottsdale. She said the battery had "fused" to the eGo cone and Vivi Nova base. Very strange indeed. Told me nothing but pliers would remove it. She's mailing to me so I can do an autopsy. I had heard of the Nova v1 causing some problems, but not on the v2.

i'd expect the voltage required to fuse them together would have started a fire or worse ?? probably just tightened to too dam tight

Glad you are ok and hope your customer is too. Will keep my eye out for similar issues and let you know if I find any.

While I do agree that the equipment we carry with us in our pockets is dangerous and can potentially damage ourselves or others, this is improbable, like what was said before there would have to be a huge amount of heat applied. Very possible the customer way over tightened. Did you get to see the item?
