Hello DIYers!

TLDR version at the bottom!

Intro

For those of you that didn't know this, ECF Live Chat has a channel dedicated to DIY mixing. The channel is small and sporadically used, but with your participation it can become a thriving community channel. Exchanging information and experience is easy and fast in IRC and you can always find someone to celebrate your successes and commiserate on your "not so successful" mixes :)

Change to vendor participation policy
Initially the channel rules specified that vendors and their representatives were not allowed to participate in the channel. After some discussion among the channel staff this policy has been rescinded. Vendors are welcome to participate in the channel as long as they follow the live chat rules and adhere to the strict rule of absolutely no advertising on live chat. This obviously includes conducting business or mentioning your website in any way, shape or form. We welcome your participation and hope that you understand the reason why ECF Live Chat is a no advertising zone.
