Welcome Lilac20! Personally, I've dripped, dropped, and poured eliquid on my hands a number of times in the year and a half I've been vaping consistently. Unless it's my nic base (which I'm using to make my juice) I might just lick it off or if it's a lot, I'll grab a paper towel or go wash my hands.
However, if you feel more comfortable wearing gloves while you fill or clean your tanks, by all means wear them. vaping is a PERSONAL experience, and just because I do things a certain way doesn't mean that it's right for YOU.
