double posting how to delete a reply I made in thread I started

I accidently double posted a reply in thread I started and is sort my own area, and if you scroll your mouse over the edit reply, it says save/delete but and when open the advanced option, I can't find where to delete the reply, am I missing some thing, due I have to have something else unlocked to delete reply's or does a moderator have to due it, really would like to delete the duplicate reply's.

Yes, moderators have to delete posts, you can only edit them for a short period of time. Just report the post(s) in question, and make your request in the report. If it's feasible, then we can usually accommodate your request.
